The best thing about Google Docs is that it does not show compatibility errors. Any versions of MS Word can be opened with Google Docs without facing any errors. Now, some users may encounter document editing error. Occurrence of this kind of error is unlikely, and thus you should check your internet connection to ensure that you have seamless online access. Another possibility for error is that the file is locked or read only file. In case of read only files, editing is not possible and for other similar errors, call customer support center of Gmail.
